Sexual Health for Adolescents Rooted in Equity
(SHARE)

SHARE provides accessible sex education and relationship-building skills.

This program is tailored to LGBTQIA+ youth, BIPOC communities, and individuals residing in rural areas across Michigan.

Our mission is to address and challenge sexual health disparities among youth in the identified SHARE communities. Program outcomes include fostering an inclusive environment where youth can gain sexual health knowledge, learn to advocate for their healthcare in medical settings, and feel empowered to make well-informed decisions about their sexual health.

The SHARE program consists of two curricula,
IN-clued and LiFT, to ensure these positive outcomes.

Linking Families & Teens (LiFT)

LiFT is a 6-hour community retreat designed to connect youth (ages 13-24) and the supportive adults in their lives by initiating meaningful discussion.

The program encourages open dialogue on topics like sexual health and identity by creating an opportunity for effective communication and navigating shared values.

LiFT aims to establish and sustain healthy relationships through ongoing conversations between youth and their support adults.

Attendees recieve a gift card at end of session!

In•clued for Health Centers

Created specifically for medical professionals, this 3-hour training is for health centers looking to expand their knowledge and communication skills when caring for LGBTQIA+ youth who may enter their care facilities.

In•clued Inclusive Sex Ed

In•clued's inclusive sex ed curriculum is a 3-hour community-based inclusive sex education curriculum for LGBTQIA+ & allied youth (ages 14-24).

This curriculum addresses the existing gaps in education for LGBTQIA+ individuals, equipping youth with resources to advocate for their healthcare needs. Attendees will review terminology (both anatomical and slang), learn how to advocate for their needs at a doctor's office, receive tailored resources in their community, and more!
