This STI Awareness Education shirt was designed by Jeff, a MOASH Youth Advisory Council member, for SIECUS' 2025 Sex Ed Week of Action.
 
“My vision for this design was to show a more visual and scientific side of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). There is a lot of stigma surrounding STIs and sex ed in general, and I am hoping to reduce some of that stigma with this design by showing that STIs are infections of the body similar to any other. We should come together as a community to educate each other and improve the health of not only ourselves, but also everyone around us. I chose the slogan ‘education is prevention’ because knowledge about how to protect ourselves from STIs and how to treat them and stay safe prevents larger health problems from rising in the future.” — Jeff, YAC Member
